High quality UK made holdalls made from water-resistant materials. The new Solent Leisure holdalls are available in large and small sizes and are designed for everyday quayside use.

Large Collared U-Bolts

Large M16 collared U-Bolt in 316 stainless steel, supplied with 2 plates and all stainless steel collars.

The advantage of the Baseline design for U-Bolts is that they are adjustable from above the deck where there is easy accessibility. The nuts can be run up by hand on the underside of the deck, where confined space often makes it difficult to use a spanner, and then can be tightened from above the deck. If necessary the nuts can be adjusted by up to 3mm, to compensate for any uneveness in the deck.

Forestay Lever

Fabricated from 316 stainless steel this well tested and reliable design is tough and strong. As well as being used for inner forestays they can also used as a safety device on boats fitted with furling headsails allowing a storm jib to be flown in an emergency. Essential for fast assembly of inner forestays in bad weather conditions.

There are 2 sizes in the range, for 6mm-8mm wire size. Manufactured in the UK by SeaSure.

Bulk Packs Sail Tell-Tales and Leech Streamers

Bulk packs of 50 Tell-Tales in 3 different colours, or 50 Leech-Streamers. Self adhesive, easy to fit. Complete with fitting instructions. Improves your sailing performance:

When a sail is trimmed correctly all Tell-Tales on both sides will stream aft. If pointing too high or the sail needs trimming, the windward Tell-Tales will flutter and lift; if sailing too low or the sail is trimmed too tight, the leeward Tell-Tales will lift.
• When sailing a fixed course, trim the headsail to the Tell-Tales; when sailing on the wind, steer the boat according to the Tell-Tales.
• To check the fore and aft position of the sheet fairlead, sail close hauled and all the Tell-Tales should stream or lift together. If the fairlead is too far aft, the highest windward or lowest leeward Tell-Tales will lift. If the fairlead is too far forward, the highest leeward or lowest windward Tell-Tales will lift.
